Photoshoot Day 10/10/26 -Dwane Fredricks

WOW what an amazing photoshoot day!

We were so lucky to have the amazing Dwane Fredricks on Saturday 10th October to shoot with us, and it did not disappoint! 

our shoot theme was this stunning reflective floor /watery style setup and we cannot wait to see all the incredible images our students will get from this shoot day.

Shoot days at Amplified are for everyone, no matter what level, size, shape, strength.

12 amazing students of ours plus both instructors had a 30 min shoot slot to capture their visions ,and safe to say they definitely did! Everyone smashed it , Dwane was a fantastic photographer to work with .

Tammi and Dwane were at the studio bright and early setting up ahead of the shoot slots -Just look at this dreamy setup

In the run up to our shoot days we usually give the option to add on the chance to get makeup done with the lovely Jess , she always does a fantastic job on those who choose to add that to the experience , I mean how beautiful does Char look here

Once our shoot slots are over though , now we pass the buck to the lovely Dwane to do his magic, uploading our 6000 !! images to his computer and sifting through so we can receive our galleries.

A little note on our galleries, we receive what they call Raw images. They would not have been edited in any way, so there is a lot of trust the process that needs to happen with this when choosing your images ,rather then getting hung up on a blemish here or there ,the main focus is choosing the composition of your image:

• shape of the pose/move- is this the angle you wanted of the move are you in it properly or are there other ones there where the positioning is better

• where are you looking , what face are you pulling ,are your eyes closed?

• are your lines nice , toes pointed , hair out of your face

• is the lighting hitting you nicely

most other elements can be edited and tweaked. Touch up makeup ,smooth the skin if you want, expand the background. But we cant really magically make your toes point when they weren't !

After choosing our images he will have the long and very skilled job of editing our images before we can finally have the finished product. But it will be totally worth the wait.
